- Leave it completely closed on the counter.
- Keep it away from the stove, sunlight, kettle steam, dishwasher heat, or any other warm spot.

- Refrigerated larger tin or dense pouch: 45 to 60 minutes is safer.
- Frozen small portion: 60 to 90 minutes is a better target.
- Frozen large portion: wait longer if the container still feels cool to the touch.
The goal is not to hit an exact clock time. The goal is to let the tin stop acting like a cold magnet for moisture. If the outside of the container still feels chilly, the interior is still cold enough to condense water from the air when opened.
Mistakes that create moisture damage
Most condensation problems come from small habits that feel harmless in the moment.
- Opening the tin right away. This is the biggest mistake and the easiest one to avoid.
- Checking the aroma before the tin warms. Every quick sniff introduces humid air.
