A number of people in my family has received a text with what looks like a 'Notice of default' from the Dallas County traffic enforcement dept. If you received it or similar message, you can relax, this is a scam that hundreds if not thousands of people also received. The idea behind these is to scare you in to a state where you stop thinking clearly. They likely will steal info and most likely money from you if you contact them.
If you are ever unsure if a notice like this is legit, you can call the government agency via their contact info on their website instead of the most likely fake info in the scam notice. Stay safe out there!
