Yep. Another website redesign.
I am using Blug by @haileyok.com as my base repository as I have forked it to my redesign's repository, I found Hailey's to be a good starter template.
Redesign Plan
The site redesign means that it will look different, and some permalinks may die. It's currently not finished as of right now, but when it is, I will be self-hosting the website and I'll see about migrating my old blog posts over as well.
Current Situation
Currently, my website is still on "version 2" based on Hugo. For what it is, it works great and I will be archiving the final version just in case I go back to it.
I am not too familiar with ReactJS but I know enough to get the scaffolding of the site tuned to my preferences.
These posts are pure Markdown (so are the blog posts from v2) so it is very easy to draft and publish them.
Reasoning
My reason to switch is purely because I want my website more interconnected with my social presence. I don't want everything here or there, so doing it like this is much better.
