Two more Russian generals just got their “eternal contract” courtesy of Ukraine,

@josecochran2016.bsky.social

russian generals dropping faster than ladas in a pothole and kremlin tv still acts like its just a paperwork mixup. ukraine keeps handing out “eternal contracts” and the only thing ruzzia produces faster than dead brass is fresh cope. every time a general gets vaporized, the regime just swaps the nameplate and pretends nothing happened, like we cant see the clown car pileup.

generals on shuffle, excuses on loop

ukraine just smoked the 51st army hq in donetsk, and now general-lieutenant sergey milchakov is part of the local scenery. z-bloggers are melting down about “leaks” and “traitors,” like the only way ukraine could find a target is if someone inside hands them a map. maybe if your generals didnt all huddle in the same building with their phones on, you wouldnt have to worry about leaks, but hey, opsec is for nato, right?

not just milchakov, either. word is, general-major anton grunis of the 4th guards motor rifle brigade got his ticket punched too, but the regime says hes just “on vacation.” classic move: deny, deny, deny, then quietly swap the office nameplate. a bunch of colonels and majors got caught in the same blast, because the russian idea of “dispersed command” is everyone sharing the same wifi password.

you’d think losing generals like this would make the regime pause and rethink their “strategy,” but nah, they just promote the next guy, slap a new patch on his sleeve, and send him to the same gps coordinates. its like watching a clown car drive into the same brick wall over and over, and every time they act surprised the horn doesnt work anymore.

stuck in 1985, fighting 2024

why does this keep happening? because the russian army is stuck in 1985, running the same chechnya playbook while the other side has drones, starlink, and a kill list. generals have to show up at the front to yell at the conscripts, because if they dont, the whole thing collapses faster than a lada in a pothole. every time they show up, ukraine’s got a drone or a missile with their name on it. its not even a fair fight, its like bringing a fax machine to a cyberwar.

meanwhile, the propaganda machine is in full cope mode. every time a general gets dusted, they pivot to “heroic sacrifice” or “the west is to blame,” as if nato is personally aiming himars at every officer with a mustache. z-bloggers are blaming “traitors” and “saboteurs,” but never the fact that their entire command structure is one big telegram group chat away from getting geolocated. its like watching a bunch of guys in a burning house argue about who left the window open.

the “second army of the world” is now the world’s biggest larp, and the only thing they’re winning is the race to see who can cope harder on telegram.

logistics: mad max but sadder

while generals are getting recycled, ukraine’s torching russian oil refineries, blowing up fuel depots, and turning logistics into a mad max cosplay. sisron refinery in samara? hit so many times its basically a bonfire with a payroll. taganrog airfield? fuel tanks lit up like a christmas tree. slavyansk refinery on the kuban? still burning, because russian firefighters are apparently just there for the instagram stories.

russia’s got a gasoline crisis so bad people are filling up with whatever they can find, and half the cars in the provinces are dying on the side of the road because the “fuel” is basically bathtub moonshine. story goes, a woman filled up near obinsk and her car died before she even left the station. thats the russian dream: fill up, break down, and pray the next general lasts longer than your engine.

kremlin’s paying truckers three grand a run to crimea, more than most russians see in a month, because ukraine’s turning convoys into scrap metal daily. ports like novorossiysk are clogged with busted ships, because ukraine’s been sinking the “shadow fleet” in the black sea faster than russia can buy new ones. repairs cost more than a new ship, so now the docks are just floating graveyards.

drone wars and war crime bingo

at least russia’s got drones, right? sure, if you count “assembling chinese parts in a tatarstan sweatshop” as domestic production. they built five new drone assembly lines in alabuga, and every night, waves of shaheds and knockoff gerans head for ukraine. but here’s the punchline: ukraine’s already field-testing new interceptors that can swat these things out of the sky at mach jesus. russia upgrades to jet-powered drones, ukraine builds jet-powered interceptors. its an arms race, but only one side’s got a clue.

while ukraine’s hitting military targets, russia’s busy bombing gas stations and pharmacies in kyiv and odesa, because nothing says “special military operation” like trying to starve and freeze civilians. they’re literally targeting food and medicine warehouses, hoping to break morale, but all they’re doing is racking up more war crimes for the hague.

and in case you missed it, russia just tried to drone a passenger train on the polish border. train had a former cia director and an eu delegation on board. drone hit the locomotive, and now the polish foreign minister is flexing that poland could wipe out the rest of russia’s refineries in six weeks if it came to it. russia’s response? “its all ukrainian territory, we’re just doing our job.” sure, nothing says “winning” like picking a fight with nato and hoping nobody notices.

economy on life support, propaganda on fumes

russian economy is circling the drain. diesel prices through the roof, the only gas you can find is the kind that kills your car, and the regime’s still pretending everything’s fine. sanctions? what sanctions? the only thing they’re exporting now is guys running for the border with a backpack and a one-way ticket to anywhere but russia.

kremlin’s favorite pastime is laundering war crimes and throwing fake referendums. they cant win on the battlefield, so they try to redraw the map with a sharpie and call it “history.” meanwhile, the only thing getting denazified is the russian officer corps, one missile at a time.

lets not forget the comedy gold: trump out here telling zelensky to stop hitting russian diesel, like ukraine’s supposed to care about moscow’s gas prices while their cities get bombed. cherry on top? russian oligarchs paying for trump jr.’s wedding in the bahamas, probably bugging the honeymoon suite for good measure. same oligarchs under sanctions for kidnapping ukrainian kids, now rubbing elbows with america’s finest. you cant make this shit up.

the scoreboard doesnt lie

so what’s the takeaway? russia’s losing generals faster than they can print medals, their logistics are a dumpster fire, their economy’s on life support, and their propaganda is running on fumes. every time they try to flex, ukraine drops another hq, another refinery, another convoy. the “second army of the world” is now the world’s biggest larp, and the only thing they’re winning is the race to see who can cope harder on telegram.

regime will keep sending generals to the front, and ukraine will keep sending them to the afterlife. z-bloggers will keep screaming about traitors, and the kremlin will keep pretending its all going according to plan. but the scoreboard doesnt lie. two more generals down, and the only thing rising in russia is the price of bad gasoline and the number of empty uniforms.

at this rate, the only thing left for the kremlin to mobilize will be the guys who sweep up after the parades. maybe they’ll promote a janitor to general, slap a medal on him, and send him to the front. at least then, when the next hq gets hit, someone will know how to clean up the mess.

russian victory parade gonna be just a guy with a broom and a medal, waving at a line of broken ladas.
