The Fox is in the Crypto Henhouse: Protect Yourself Before the Collapse Hits

@mitch.social

Let me cut to the chase: I’ve been in the legal and business trenches longer than most of these twenty-something “crypto gurus” on X Spaces and Discord have been alive. You’ve seen them—puffed-up confidence, tossing out half-baked strategies as if cryptocurrencies and blockchain will forgive recklessness.

Here’s the truth: their hype isn’t just misguided—it’s dangerous. But then the real problem? People are buying it, hook, line, and sinker. It’s eerily familiar. Remember the 2006-08 financial meltdown? Back then, everyone thought they’d discovered a shortcut to wealth, too. Turns out, those shortcuts weren’t roads—they were cliffs.

Therefore, I’m here to remind you: we’ve been here before. I spent years helping clients clean up the mess from that crisis. And what I’m seeing now in crypto? It’s the same song, just with shinier instruments. Speculation masquerading as strategy. Promises of overnight riches with no mention of risk. The digital gold rush feels like history repeating itself—this time on the blockchain.

Now, picture this: the henhouse is wide open, and the fox? It’s sitting there in plain sight, casually scrolling through their smartphone. That’s where we are with crypto right now. Scammers, opportunists, and unregulated chaos. But then here’s the twist: according to the incoming administration, regulation isn’t stepping in to protect the hens. It’s stepping out. Over the next two years, we’re going to see the cracks in this system grow—and some people, unfortunately, are going to get caught on the wrong side of the collapse. In fact, I wrote about it in detail and am sharing the link again below.

Here’s the bottom line: don’t let the hype blind you. Do your due diligence. Triple-check everything before you stake your money—or your reputation. The decentralized world is ripe with opportunity, yes, but it’s also crawling with wolves dressed in coin logos.

So, I’ll leave you with this: some form of web3 decentralized digital technology might be the future, but rushing into it without understanding the risks could leave you with no future at all. Share this with someone who needs to hear it—because it’s far better to tread carefully now than to rebuild after the crash.
