so what now? hope, help, and less clowning
no magic bullet, but a few things are obvious:
- people need hope. you want babies? give folks a reason to believe tomorrow isnt just another rerun of bad news.
- make it possible to raise a family: affordable housing, good schools, healthcare that doesnt bankrupt you.
- stop pretending this is just a “womens issue.” men need to step up, and society needs to stop acting like dads are optional accessories.
and maybe, just maybe, stop letting the clowns in power distract everyone with fake referendums, nuclear blackmail, and endless propaganda about “traditional values” while the country quietly empties out. the only thing the kremlin’s winning is the race to see who can run out of young people first.
bottom line: the world, and ukraine, stopped having babies because the future looks busted, the math doesnt work, and nobody wants to raise a kid in a world run by idiots. fix that, and maybe the storks will come back. until then, the only thing multiplying is the excuses.
