From the inside, the meat grinder looks like this. Even a contract soldier from the Irkutsk region finally cracks on camera. Ivan Poryadin has been fighting since early 2024. He started in reconnaissance, then got shoved into assault units. He doesn’t hold back.
The Reality of Assault Units
One attack wave, he says, and an entire company is gone. Only three wounded men left. His regiment used to be mostly mobilized soldiers. Now the handful still alive are kept in staff positions. The ones sent forward simply flew apart into molecules. Many never even made it to the objective. They were shredded on the approach.
He has spent a full year grinding over Novopavlovka, that key crossroads on the Zaporizhzhia-Donetsk seam. Twice he dug in and held it for nearly three months each time, doing everything by the book. Both times the Russians pulled back and the Ukrainians took it again.
Why the fuck did we fight for it? That one sentence should echo in every Moscow briefing room still pretending this meat-assault strategy works.
Scraping the Bottom
They are scraping the bottom harder than ever. The new replacements showing up at the training ground are half old men and half black-asses dragged in from nowhere. No training. No motivation. No chance. This is no longer an army. The system runs on human fuel imported from the provinces, the prisons, and foreign backwaters. The elite keep their own kids safe in Dubai and Moscow.
Every Western commentator who sighs about attrition wearing both sides down equally, or pushes another ceasefire so Russia can regroup, needs to watch this guy. This Russian pressure can't last. A collapsing force cannibalizing itself in plain sight. It admits it cannot hold ground it paid for with literal mountains of corpses. Novopavlovka changed hands again because Ukraine refused to treat its soldiers as disposable. Moscow treats nothing else.
The Demographic Time Bomb
The demographic time bomb that Kremlin propagandists denied in 2022 is detonating right now on their own Telegram channels. They are not conquering. They are burning through the last usable cohorts of their own population for a few square kilometers they cannot keep. Meanwhile Ukraine is scaling up drone production, artillery, and trained brigades. Russia is left feeding pensioners and migrants into the fire.
This confession stands out as typical. The pattern holds. Moscow’s imperial project is eating its own young and old at the same time, then acting shocked when the meat runs out. The only question left is how many more Russians have to be turned into molecules before the people still sitting in Irkutsk, Chukotka, and Dagestan decide the tsar’s war is not worth their genes. Until then we will keep taking back every meter they bleed for. History already proved who breaks first when the grinder runs this hot.
