The woman in the video is describing a machine that has been running in plain sight since at least 2022. Only now has it been formalized in over 500 Russian schools. Fourteen-year-olds assembling FPV drones under the guidance of veterans is a serious, practical combat training program: industrial-scale child conscription into the war economy.
The Inversion Doctrine
This is Moscow’s standard inversion doctrine. You create the weapon, deploy it, film it hitting civilians, and then accuse the victim of committing the crime you just committed. The kids screwing those drones together are not future engineers. They are being turned into moral hostages. Every Ukrainian death can then be laundered as "Ukrainians killing Russian children" in the information space. The cynicism is absolute.
The same state that sends these drones into Ukrainian apartment blocks then flips the script and screams that Ukrainians are the ones killing children. Their propaganda deliberately features this. The operating system is the whole thing.
Weaponizing Youth Twice
Western observers still treat this as if it were mere propaganda. Call it a hybrid war doctrine that weaponizes its own youth twice. Once as labor. Once as narrative shield. Every time some isolationist account or Kremlin-adjacent influencer parrots the line that Ukraine is "killing Russian kids," they are performing the exact role this system was built to exploit. They are the useful endpoint of a pipeline that starts in a Russian classroom and ends in Berlin or Washington comment sections.
The only way this ends is not through another Minsk-style paper that Moscow will ignore while it keeps the schools running.
How It Ends
It ends when the drone factories are physically destroyed. It ends when the front collapses. It ends when the regime that built this conveyor belt of indoctrination and denial loses the ability to sustain it. Anything less just buys another cycle of dead Ukrainian civilians and fresh batches of Russian teenagers taught that war crimes are civic duty.
Ukraine is defending itself against Russia’s full-scale invasion. It is dismantling an imperial meat grinder that has decided its own children are raw material. The sooner the West treats this as the existential industrial threat it is, the fewer schools in both countries will become drone assembly lines. Moscow cannot be negotiated out of this pathology. It can only be defeated out of it.
