Then it takes two more hits mid-fight and stays in the fight. Then a fifth on the way home, and it keeps rolling.
The Droid TW 12.7 from DevDroid just gave us the clearest possible data point on where unmanned ground systems are heading. A tracked platform equipped with an M2 Browning, a ballistic computer, and AI-assisted targeting. The radio link can switch between mesh, LTE, or satellite.
The Platform and Its Numbers
Range reaches one kilometer. Speed sits at seven kilometers per hour. Endurance stretches to twenty-five kilometers. Those numbers sound modest until you understand the use case: clearing areas where enemy infantry is present without sending a single Ukrainian soldier into the kill zone.
The moscovian side is already complaining about Ukrainian ground platforms multiplying across the front. Their own Z-channels admit the problem is scale and connectivity. They lost Starlink. Their domestic satellite constellation is a joke.
The Attrition Math
Meanwhile Ukraine ordered twenty-two thousand ground robotic systems for 2026 from the state budget alone. That figure does not even count volunteer and commercial supply lines. Every FPV drone moscovia spends trying to kill one robot is a drone not hitting Ukrainian infantry. The attrition math that matters is this.
