I thought one of the first things I would do with this space is show off something I've been working on at Fieldmouse Press. Our Summer 2025 season is heading to print soon, and the book I'm putting the final touches on now is Mara Ramirez's FLEA, a interrupted chronology of a trans woman whose experience of the world is full of people who ignore, manipulate, and abuse her. Flea's strength (and brazenness) are revitalizing, as is Mara's distinctive sketchy line.
We'll be launching the crowdfunding campaign for this season soon, so keep your eyes peeled. For now, though, here is a small excerpt. ❤️🦗❤️
