This major update introduces Pure Integer Mode for bit-perfect playback and full surround sound support, enhancing its high-fidelity audio capabilities. The release also includes numerous bug fixes and improvements, particularly for WasAPI and HAL Integer playback.
Black Omega supports high-resolution audio formats up to 768kHz and 32-bit depth, with multi-channel configurations up to 7.1 surround sound. The player is open-source under the BSD-3-Clause license and is available for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
