Establishment of Terms of Use and Privacy Policy
WhiteWind initially started as a proof of concept (PoC) for atproto. Thanks to your support, it has grown into a regularly used service with a total of 69,000 viewers and 2,259 articles.
Until now, thanks to the goodwill of users, the service has operated smoothly without major issues. However, potential risks always exist — such as the posting of offensive content or the sudden unavailability of WhiteWind.
Nevertheless, due to its origin as a PoC, there were no established terms of use or privacy policy, and responsibility in the event of such issues was unclear.
To reduce risks for both users and WhiteWind in case of trouble, we have now established a Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
To paraphrase:
- Please use WhiteWind at your own risk. As this is an individually operated service, please be prepared to accept any potential loss or damages.
- WhiteWind does not collect personal information, but it does use Google Analytics.
- Please refrain from using the service in a way that violates the law or causes trouble for other users.

Blog of some sorts
It’s been three months since the last update.
I've been extremely busy with both work and personal matters, and I apologize for not being able to expand the service’s features during that time.
Actually, due to what was likely a bug, the cloud infrastructure costs spiked to $300 in February. Behind the scenes, I’ve been working on alerts and improvements to reduce costs.
It’s a bit too late to regret that the same amount could’ve bought a Switch 2.
Even if it's just a hobby project, this served as a lesson that operational management must not be neglected.
