Article data loss accidents have become easier to prevent!
🖊️ Article Data Loss Prevention Mechanisms
Unsaved Alert
If you try to close or refresh the page without saving the article, an alert like the one in the image will appear.
This will prevent accidents of data loss caused by accidentally closing the tab!
Save Status Indicator
An indicator showing whether the article is unsaved has been added next to the public status!
This can prevent accidents of unintentionally closing the tab.

Auto Save
Just like Google Docs, data is now automatically saved!
After 10 seconds have passed since the last edit to the article body, the article data is automatically saved to PDS.
You no longer need to press the floppy mark to save each time!
🔗 Changes to Permalink Specifications
Until now, the permalink that could be copied from the article page link mark was a "strict link" that becomes invalid if the article is edited.
This can prevent problems such as sharing the article link on Bluesky and endorsing it, only for the author to edit the article to say the opposite, making it look like you endorsed an unintended article.
However, a "loose link" that does not break even if the article content is edited is standard on other sites, and now you can choose between a loose link and a strict link!
Type of Link Copied | Button |
---|---|
Loose Link | |
Strict Link |
❓ Addition of Help Button
A "?" button has been added in the article editor!
If your browser is in English, it will jump to the English help page, and if it is in Japanese, it will jump to the Japanese help page.
Change in Default Publication Scope
The default publication scope when creating an article has been changed to Author only.
This can prevent unintended article publication.
Addition of Embeddable Sites
Responding to requests, embedding from BandCamp has been enabled.
