Today marks the Ingress of the Sun into Tropical Libra, those who have been following my world astrology know I root my Sidereal delineations to the Vernal Point of the Sidereal chart, which is zero degrees Tropical Aries. Today the sun is opposing the vernal point, marking the Libra Ingress and Fall Equinox. Due to the Ascending sign of the Aries Ingress chart being in Capricorn we read a new chart for every cardinal ingress this year.

Overview

The Aries and Cancer ingresses featured a Capricorn ascendant, while for this Libra ingress it’s shifted into Sagittarius. Sagittarius is more concerned with ideals, learning, religious ideals, government offices, and attorneys. The ruler of the Ascendant is placed in Gemini, harmed due to being opposite to the Sign it rules over. Jupiter also rules over the retrograde Saturn at the bottom of the chart in Pisces. It’s important to note the exact square between Jupiter and the MC/DC axis, as well as being square its ruler Mercury. Take a moment to look at the chart and make note of things you see!

World View

Ideology into Law

This ingress is marking an important moment where ideologies are likely to become law. We will be witnessing dramatic shifts in both internal administration alliances, and within international alliances. Authoritative structures will face challenges as loyalty wavers. We may see leaders in the administration claim that the country is crumbling, in order to justify their ideological restructuring of the foundations of the country.

Jupiter in Punarvasu creates an overpowering repetition of historical patterns. Many themes we see today will uncomfortably mirror past events. While Venus in Magha amplifies this by idealizing heritage and lineage in order to use them as tools for authority. Nostalgia will be used to try and unite people while implementing methods for future control. The combination of significations in the chart seem reminiscent of a feedback loop, where past becomes prologue.

Rahu 12 signs from it’s retrograde ruler Saturn may reveal veiled motives through speech and communication. There is a chance that news about economic improvements may actually be carefully manipulated data. While our true financial foundation, especially along the lines of resources and international markets, faces great strain. I expect the draughts and fires from the summer are going to prove to not have high yields due to Saturn retrograde in the fourth house as well, which also affects the nation’s resources and finances overall.

Economic and Tech Disruption

Financial troubles seem to be looming for the nation, especially within markets that involve trade, foreign exchange markets, and likely crypto markets as well. They will likely be quite unstable. The ninth and eleventh house significations lead me to believe there will be an emphasis on a more global financial disruption that is masked by domestic propaganda. Neighboring countries will likely distance themselves from us, especially with the North Node in the third house, and South Node in the ninth. We can also expect these countries to become more vocal and critical of our nation’s policies.

Agreements between the government and tech sectors may shift dramatically. Mars bringing in isolation from others, but also self-sabotaging policies that reject outside input from international partners. America’s technical advantage may slow as specialized jobs face layoffs or move to other countries offering better incentives The manipulation of technology will serve for ideological purposes rather than for genuine progress. The Moon and Mercury in Hasta help bring concrete shape to these ideologies. I could see also the placement bringing new government buildings of some sort, as well as data centers and technological systems that serve specific ideological causes.

Those working in fields that require technical skills may see disruptions in income. This is not necessarily related to only the technology field. I’m expecting this to play out as employers that rely on workers who use computers, will invest in AI to do those jobs and lay off workers.

Authority Over Personal Expression

There will be a looming power over personal expression, including sexuality, gender, and intimate relationships. These topics will become the primary ideological battlegrounds in the country. Illuminating control in ways that bring power to those in charge of what looks good and bad in society.

The South Node is dangerously blurring boundaries between spiritual ideologies and actual material solutions. We may also see both state and federal powers blurring lines between government and religion. We may see legislation that confuses scientific facts with ideological doctrines. There is a possible trajectory that the nation will be building upon religious communication rather than factual foundations, which will bring conflict even within the administration that is in power.

Truth Beneath the Surface

The Ascendant in Mula begs for truth seeking, and yearns to dismantle illusions but Jupiter being damaged means some of these mysteries and illusions may be impermeable, at least until the Jupiter Retrograde. There will be an ability to see through certain deceptions, while the truth remains absent in other areas. Saturn is weakened, and so are the foundations of the country creating a lazier governance that just throws multiple goals at the wall to see what sticks. Not really the best way to build stable infrastructure.

Hidden agendas that do happen to come to the surface will be loud. Themes may include traitors, spices, and hackers. Their allegiances will be revealed.

Personal Impacts

For each of us on a more individual level, this period has themes of careful navigation while experiencing shifting loyalties, and seeing hidden motivations in personal relationships. There is a call to examine personal deceptions and lies we’ve been telling ourselves, as well, and trying to break through them.

Financially we may see more instability, and it’s important to verify information independently to avoid bad investments, some of which may sound too good to be true.

This is a very powerful ingress for hands on learning and bringing our creative projects into a greater fruition. It’s a great time to focus on a specific skill or area of learning and creativity. Creating something physical can be a rewarding and healing process during stressful times like these, and can give us a way to feel grounded.

This is a great time to get more into ancestral practices, and bring focus on personal history and heritage. While delving into these practices Saturn is asking us to examine the foundations of our mental strength and spiritual pursuits to ensure they align with our life paths.

This is an important time to chose uncomfortable truths over comfortable illusions. A time to re-examine relationships, and find those who are authentic in our lives.

Conclusion

This Libra Ingress will present a critical moment for us this year, where comfortable certainties seem to dissolve and fall through our fingers. Our Nation will weaponize heritage and blur the lines between church and state. During this time we will need to be mindful to not be pulled into collective currents, and maintain our own personal truth within the chaos.

Until the Capricorn ingress our ability to discern information will be tested, which is truth and what is manipulation? We have an opportunity to delve into our lives, uncover truths, and emerge from this strained moment even stronger. We have a choice to participate in our own delusions, or use this energy to build something more authentic and beautiful for the future.
