In my early FFXIV modding/screenshot days I came up with this idea for "sigils" for Iriali and Vallia.
They were magic circles or pentagrams with womb tattoo vibes.
I referred to it once as a "brand" in a tweet or wrote a caption "who wants to get branded".
Irrelevant now. Probably.
The visuals were these circles/decals placed on each girl's groin/FUPA and later on their left breast by their heart.
It also had magical or summoning circle vibes.
They'd be on their hands or floating above where they gestured for casting magic.
It was a mix between magic flair and aetherical/magical connection.
Each girl had a unique design. On their body. It was the same that would appear when they cast magic.
It also was colored as their soul/aether color or OC design/accent color.
In this case it matched their eyes.
Vallia was a sort of magenta.
Iriali was teal.
I don't remember if my works visually portrayed them using this magic on each other. If it was a link or shared bond. If it allowed them to manipulate each other or their magic.
Either way it was a concept I might not have portrayed or written down.
Quick aside,
I'm currently concepting these sigils, I guess I'll call them, as being used by each other to manipulate each other's bodies and magics.
So the latest evolution of this visual design is blue tattoos or ink of a specific new heart pentagram design. ^01
Both girls have the exact same sigils in the exact same spots.
One on their left breast approximately where their heart is.

Some visual flavor or fluff in past renders was the sigils glowing in their eye/accent color, despite being drawn in blue ink.
An old concept I'm remembering talking about out loud probably was these sigils gave them a shared aetherical connection that wasn't limited by distance or realities.

Initially it was mostly a kink/smut thing.

I had a random idea where Vallia used it in a combination of spell casting to save a captured/hostage Iriali.

So currently the sigils are just a shared visual element for Iriali and Vallia's models. As I described above.

In my head I'm currently revisiting the concept of being able to "commandeer" control of each other via a magical connection shares through these sigils.
