Russian general croaks, Donetsk miners riot, Liman’s getting spicy, and Trump...

russian general croaks, donetsk miners riot, liman’s getting spicy, and trump’s out here talking nukes like he’s pitching a new flavor of monster energy. just another day in the world’s dumbest soap opera, where the only thing more unstable than the front line is the kremlin’s grip on reality.

liman: the cardio capital of russia

liman’s back in the news, which means russian tv is back on their bullshit. remember when they promised to “liberate” all of donetsk by friday? it’s monday, and the only thing getting liberated is more russian gear for ukrainian scrap yards. afu’s poking at liman again, and the z-bloggers are sweating harder than a conscript at a drone expo.

every time ukraine makes a move, the russian mod drops a statement about “strategic regrouping,” which is vatnik for “we ran so fast we left the samovar.” the maps on kremlin tv are doing more steps than a moscow pensioner chasing a bus. if you believe the kremlin, liman’s been “under control” for two years straight, which is wild because the only thing they control is the camera angle.

the only thing russia’s conquered is the world record for most generals lost in a single war.

donetsk miners: from clapping to striking

meanwhile, in the “people’s republics,” the donetsk miners finally figured out that “russian world” means working for free while your boss buys a new mercedes. there’s a full-on strike brewing, and the local bosses are panicking because if the miners stop digging, who props up the potemkin economy? spoiler: nobody.

the regime’s playbook is classic: call them nazis, blame the west, and send in riot cops who look like they haven’t seen a paycheck since crimea. the miners are chanting for wages, not nato, but try telling that to russian tv. according to the talking heads, it’s all a cia plot to destabilize the sacred coal output of donbass. sure, buddy, the cia’s master plan is to make sure your cousin doesn’t get paid for crawling through a mine shaft.

  • miners strike for unpaid wages
  • regime blames “western sabotage”
  • riot cops sent in, still waiting for their own pay

generals: now you see them, now you dont

another week, another russian general bites the dust. you know the script: “tragically died in a car accident,” “heroically fell in the line of duty,” or my personal favorite, “sudden heart failure at 52.” at this point, russian generals are dropping faster than their drones over belgorod.

the regime spins every dead general as a national tragedy, but even the anchors look bored. they read the obit, show a photo of some guy in a hat, and move on to the next “strategic success.” the only real surprise is that there’s anyone left to promote. pretty soon they’ll be giving out stars to the guy who runs the canteen.

trump: n-rhetoric and used golf carts

now we got trump out here treating nuclear threats like a tiktok trend. every time putin rattles the nuclear saber, trump’s either downplaying it or mumbling about “compromise” like he’s haggling over a used golf cart. his crew—kushner, whitkoff, the usual suspects—are floating “peace plans” that sound a lot like “let russia keep whatever it stole and call it a day.”

they show up in kyiv, get laughed at, then fly to moscow for a photo op with some guy who hasn’t smiled since the ussr fell. every time trump’s people talk about “ending the war,” they mean ending it for russia, not for ukraine. the only “compromise” they want is ukraine giving up land so trump can brag about a deal.

meanwhile, russian diplomats at the un are quoting random american senators and whining that europe’s “hysteria” is infecting trump with “russophobia.” nothing says “strong leader” like blaming your problems on a guy who can’t even pronounce “nuclear.”

economy: cabbage, cope, and more mobilization

back home, the russian economy’s in freefall. sanctions are biting, oil’s getting harder to sell, and even the loyalists are starting to notice that “import substitution” means “hope you like cabbage.” wildberries is tanking, sochi’s a mess, and the only thing growing is the number of guys dodging mobilization.

the regime’s answer? more propaganda, more fake referendums, and more promises that “victory is just around the corner.” the only thing around the corner is another round of mobilization and a new batch of tiktoks showing some guy in a trench eating expired rations.

  • wildberries tanks, sochi’s a disaster
  • sanctions bite, oil exports drop
  • mobilization dodgers multiply

z-bloggers: cope thicker than borscht

the z-bloggers are working overtime. one day it’s “unstoppable offensives,” the next they’re begging for donations to buy socks for the troops. they’ll post a video of a burning oil depot and call it “evidence of western desperation.” they’ll show a line of miners on strike and claim it’s “proof of western sabotage.” at this point, they could film a bear stealing a washing machine and blame it on nato.

the cope is so thick you could bottle it and sell it as engine oil. every russian victory gets announced from a town 600 km from the town they actually lost. those maps are doing serious cardio.

nuclear blackmail: toddler tantrum edition

and through it all, the kremlin keeps threatening the world with nukes every time they lose a village. it’s like a toddler threatening to hold his breath until he gets more candy. the west isn’t buying it, ukraine’s not backing down, and even china’s looking at putin like “bro, you good?” the only people still pretending this is a winning strategy are the ones who get paid to say it on tv.

everyone else is just trying to keep the lights on and avoid the next round of “voluntary” mobilization. the regime’s out of ideas, out of generals, and almost out of miners. all they’ve got left is empty threats and a tv studio full of guys who still think it’s 1945.

the only thing more tragic than the state of the russian army is the fact that half the world still has to pretend to take them seriously. but hey, at least the washing machines are safe—for now.

russian victory parade this year is just a guy with a sign that says “please donate for socks.”
